IELTS On Computer

Our centre has been the first IELTS centre in Europe to offer the test on computer.

The test on computer is identical to the IELTS On Paper test in terms of content, score, difficulty and type of questions. The listening, reading and writing tests will be carried out using a computer while the speaking test will take place face to face with an IELTS examiner.

The IELTS test is available in Academic and General modules. The “Academic” module is ideal for those who wish to attend university and post-graduate courses, such as masters, MBAs, doctorates, as well as for those who aspire to enroll in a professional register. On the contrary, the “General Training” module is more suitable for candidates who intend to emigrate to an English-speaking country (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, USA).

All about the IELTS On Computer test

• You will receive your results 1 to 5 days after you complete the last section of your test. Go to the test result!
• More dates available to take the test with sessions even on Sunday!
• Speaking test in face to face or Video Call Speaking mode generally carried out on the same day as the test
• Possibility to register up to 7 days before the date of the test, subject to availability of places
• Information relating to the meeting time and venue of the test for both the written part and the Speaking test, communicated about 5 days before the test date

Book your IELTS on computer test

The IELTS on computer test takes place at International House Certifications in Via Mecenate 90 in Milan.

Before starting the registration process, make sure you have a color scan of your documents, id document and tessera sanitaria, in JPEG or PNG format (the file size must not be larger than 1.5 MB). Then click on the date on which you want to take the test, follow the instructions and complete the registration by making the payment.

New for 2024: One Skill Retake

One Skill Retake (OSR) offers the possibility of repeating just one part of the test (listening, reading, writing or speaking) to improve your score in a specific area, without having to repeat the entire test. Currently IELTS One Skill Retake is only available to candidates choosing IELTS On Computer.

You can book IELTS One Skill Retake after receiving your test score, within 60 days of the date you took your IELTS test. Remember that you only have one OSR available for each IELTS test taken.

OSR results will be available within 3-5 days. You will receive a new IELTS certificate which will include the One Skill Retake result and will be valid for 2 years from the original test date. You can choose to use the certificate obtained by taking the IELTS test the first time or the new TRF updated with the One Skill Retake result; both are valid and can be submitted to the requesting institutions.

IELTS One Skill Retake is currently accepted by UK Visas and Immigration, the Australian Department of Home Affairs, the Australian Health Practitioners RegulationAgency and a growing number of Canadian and Australian universities.

Payment

You can pay at our school in Milan, in cash, by debit or credit card, by PayPal or by bank transfer. Payments must be made within 24 hours of registration. Applications will be considered valid only after payment has been received in full. Payment must be received within 48 hours of registration.

You can use the APP 18 – BONUS CULTURA voucher or the CARTA DEL DOCENTE.
