Topics covered

Topics vary throughout the year and may include, for example:

  • Speaking (tasks, assessment, feedback)
  • Listening (strategies, classroom-friendly activities)
  • Writing (task types, criteria, support)
  • Assessment & marking (criteria, standardisation, common issues)
  • Use of English / Grammar & vocabulary (exam focus and targeted teaching)

(The specific topic is always stated on the individual workshop page.)

How the workshops work

Practical and interactive sessions: you will work on activities, examples and classroom-ready ideas. We recommend joining with something to take notes with and being ready to share ideas and experiences.

Ministry-recognised certificate (MIM)

At the end of the workshop, we issue a certificate of attendance valid for teachers’ professional development through AISLi (Ministerial Decree 177/2000 – Directive 170/2016).

I can’t attend anymore — what should I do?
Please let us know and cancel your booking (via the contact details or your registration management link).

I’m looking for a more complete pathway to teach English — where should I start?
If you want a solid, internationally recognised starting point, CELTA is the best place to begin. It is the benchmark course for developing (or consolidating) practical skills in methodology, lesson management, planning and feedback. If you already have experience and want to take the next step (deeper methodology, specialisation and advanced professional development), the natural progression is DELTA.

Would you like a more structured teacher development programme?
If you’re looking for a complete professional development route beyond workshops, explore our Teacher Training options, including CELTA and DELTA.
