As a language school and internationally recognised teacher training centre, International House Milan occasionally offers free courses taught by trainee teachers under the supervision of expert trainers at our San Donato Milanese location or online. An opportunity to learn English face-to-face with the International House methodology, used in over 150 schools worldwide.
Next free English course available
We are selecting participants for our summer face-to-face free English course. Candidates with the required level may join even after the course has begun.
Extensive Online Course
Period: 24th October 2025 to 27th March 2026 (no lessons on 19/11/25, 26/11/25 and 02/01/26)
Time: Every Friday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
Method: Online via the ZOOM platform
Levels: Pre-Intermediate (A2) and Upper Intermediate (B2)
In order to participate in the free course you will have to take our online English test to verify that you have the required level of English. Important: before starting the test, select “free course with trainee teachers” from the courses of interest.
Full-time online course
Period: 3rd November to 4th December 2025
Time: Every day, Monday to Thursday, from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm (time to be confirmed)
Method: Online via the ZOOM platform
Levels: Pre-Intermediate (A2) and Upper Intermediate (B2)

Costs and security deposit
The courses are completely free. Only the following is required:
Security deposit: €50.00 in cash
- Payment before the course begins (by 27th June 2025)
- Full refund at course completion with minimum 80% attendance
- Exemption for unemployed (certification required)
This deposit ensures group continuity and effective learning for all participants.
